Book 30 minutes ($50) for one area, such as the neck and shoulders. Book 60 minutes ($70) for a full body massage, head to toe. At King Massage in Woodbridge, every style comes in both lengths.
When 30 minutes is enough
Thirty minutes is enough when one area needs attention. The neck, shoulders and upper back are the usual ones.
At $50, it fits into a lunch break or a stop on the way home from I-95.
It is also an easy way to try a new style before you book a full hour.
When the full hour is worth it
Sixty minutes is worth it when you want the whole body done: back, shoulders, neck, arms and legs.
At $70, it leaves time to slow down instead of watching the clock.

How the time is spent
In 30 minutes, your therapist goes straight to the area you name. In 60 minutes, the whole body is warmed up first.
After that, extra time goes where you need it, and the session ends with a slower pass.
Making a short session count
Name one priority before you start. One area done well beats three areas rushed.
Arrive a few minutes early so the full 30 minutes is yours.
For a first visit
For a first visit, the hour is the easier choice. You have time to settle in and try different pressure.
Our first-time guide walks through the visit step by step.
